This is not an unfamiliar sight any more. What starts as a curiosity of "What are the Americans doing?" turns into eyes locked in fascination of who God is. Many of the people that show up to the shows haven't heard the gospel. It's easy to assume that they have, because God is an embedded idea in this country, but people have grown up with religion rather than relationship. They can say and do the right things to make most people confident that they are a Christian, but when you get past the surface, people are longing for more. They pray to God and hope that He will answer their prayers, but they don't know that he wants to talk back. Prayers are simply seen as good wishes towards Heaven, not an open conversation with the living God.
So, I would ask you, Would you climb on a smelly bathroom just to get closer to Jesus?
